Australian National University (ANU)

Australian National Universityis a top Australian university, being ranked in QS World Rankings as 24th in the world in 2012. It is also a top Australian institution in the field of economics. The QS ranked ANU 27th in economics in the world and first in Australia in 2012. While the economics research at ANU is conducted at several units, the research most relevant for our project is done at the ANU Crawford School of Public Policy, especially at the Climate Change and Energy program of the Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis (CAMA), which is serving as an ANU hub for our project.

ANU’s extensive research collaboration is both global and regional in the South Asia - Pacific, Oceania and Australasia areas. The CAMA Centre is by its construction based on international cooperation since it involves a wide network of international research associates, including the coordinator of ECOCEP, prof. Janda. A noteworthy long-term international cooperation exists between ANU and the Climate and Energy Economics Project of Brookings Institution in Washington D.C.
